Giovanni M Pauletti, MPharm, PhD
Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, Endowed Pfeiffer Chair, Department of Pharmaceutical and Administrative Sciences, and Professor of Pharmaceutics at UHSP
Dr. Pauletti is a professor of pharmaceutics and chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Administrative Sciences at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy, University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy (UHSP). He also serves as the dean of the UHSP College of Graduate Studies and holds a secondary appointment at the Department of Anesthesiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Pauletti received his MPharm and PhD from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland
Dr. Pauletti directs an interdisciplinary research program that centers on the design and evaluation of novel drug delivery systems, including targeted nanocarriers, bioresponsive medical devices, and combination products. In collaboration with various academic and commercial partners, he successfully enabled preclinical and early clinical development of those technologies to improve safety and therapeutic efficacy of small molecules and biotechnology-based drugs relevant to women’s health and cancer interventions. Dr. Pauletti has published more than 170 scientific papers and communications and is an inventor on 16 U.S. patents and patent applications.
